Up to Data Recovery F.A.Q.

I have three partitions on my drive. Is it possible to have access to them after recovery?

If your hard drive is repairable, and in our opinion will stay repaired, we will return your data on your repaired drive. This will preserve your operating system, the system configuration, available software and recovered data. Your computer will boot right after you install the repaired drive and start the system.

If it is determined that your drive cannot be repaired, we can return your recovered data in a variety of ways, including copying it to a new hard drive, writeable CD or DVD.

Normally, we recover all files and folders from all partitions, and comprehensive recovery report will include information about your data from each particular partition.

I placed one working drive on top of another to get at a screw. The phone rang and I answered it about 10 minutes later I completed screwing the drives into their places. The screen was frozen. I rebooted and it never got into the OS as it said a file had been corrupted. I ran check disk and it told me that the c-drive was good. It would not complete a check disk on the d-drive as one or more files are corrupted. I had a local company come to my home as their advertisement said the do data recovery. A waste of money. The technician listened to what I said. Tried to boot it using my software and then he said the drive was not spinning. I told him that he had to be mistaken as I had successfully run chkdsk. He was not fazed. Although he pointed out a capacitor or a resistor on the drive and noted it had been damaged. It is on the left side of the drive about an inch and a half down from the bar code. He stated he could not do anything for me at that point and charged $75 for his service.

After recovery:

sudden appearance of 'NTLDR missing' message on boot. No drive noise. BIOS auto detect taking 30-45 seconds to recognize drive and then incorrectly.
Dealership where computer and drive purchased attempted recovery. Reported they were never able to see the drive. They swapped the PCB with an identical model, fully functional, and moved the disk capsule (without opening it) to another identical unit with same results.

After recovery:

Thanks a LOT for you GREAT work...
